A key use of our conversion service is to take document information from outdated or obsolete systems and convert everything into open format document images and indexes. This archive can then be implemented onto an IMSCAN System (network or standalone) for intuitive, powerful document retrieval.
A wide range of image and database formats can be imported into IMSCAN - including proprietary format file structures. Once the images and index data are converted into IMSCAN they are held in standard formats such as TIF and JPG (for image), SQL, MSDE, Oracle or Access (for index data) - so flexible access to the data is always possible.
